This month's XtraPOS update delivers one of our most requested inventory enhancements, alongside powerful new reporting capabilities, streamlined stock management tools, and time-saving administration features.
Whether you're managing multiple stores, selling fashion and apparel, or handling high-volume inventory, the June 2026 release is designed to help you work smarter, make better decisions, and save valuable time.
Manage Inventory More Efficiently with Units of Measure (UOM)
One of the standout features in this release is the introduction of Units of Measure (UOM) support for backend stock transactions.
You can now purchase and adjust inventory using bulk units such as boxes, packs, and crates, making stock intake and inventory adjustments significantly easier.
With UOM support available across Purchasing and Stock Adjustment screens, businesses can:
Receive supplier deliveries in wholesale quantities without manual calculations.
Perform accurate inventory adjustments using the correct unit of measure.
Reduce errors during stock intake and auditing.
Improve consistency across inventory operations.
This long-awaited enhancement simplifies everyday inventory management while improving accuracy behind the scenes.
Smarter Stock Rotation with Enhanced Availability Insights
Keeping inventory moving has never been easier.
The enhanced Availability Explorer now provides even greater visibility into stock across all your locations, helping you identify opportunities to maximise sales and reduce excess inventory.
New capabilities include:
Zero Availability Tracking, allowing you to instantly identify products unavailable in specific stores and quickly move stock from locations where it isn't selling.
Quantity Remaining Indicators, showing the percentage of stock still available compared to the original purchased quantity, with filtering by remaining stock percentage.
Collection Introduction Dates, making it easy to track when products first entered your collection, particularly useful for fashion, seasonal ranges, and lifecycle management.
These improvements make stock rotation more strategic and inventory planning more informed.
Deeper Matrix Reporting for Fashion & Multi-Variant Retailers
For retailers managing products with multiple colours, sizes, and seasonal variations, reporting has become significantly more powerful.
Our enhanced Matrix Reporting now delivers deeper visibility across purchasing, sales, and inventory valuation.
Purchases Multi-Filter Report
You can now group purchasing data by Colour and Size while also tracking Recommended Retail Price (RRP) and Price Level 1 margins for more meaningful purchasing analysis.
Sales Multi-Filter Report
Sales reporting now groups by Colour and Size, providing detailed insights into discounts applied and real-time quantity availability for every individual SKU sold.
Inventory Valuation Report
Inventory valuation can now include additional matrix information such as Colour, Size, and Season, making financial reporting and stock auditing more comprehensive than ever.
For apparel and multi-variant retailers, these enhancements provide a much clearer picture of product performance at every level.
Faster Operations & Simpler Administration
This release also introduces several practical improvements that simplify day-to-day operations.
Mobile Material Search
The XtraPOS Mobile App now allows users to search directly by Material Number from the Stock Enquiry screen, instantly displaying stock availability across all outlets, organised by Stock Code, Colour, and Size.
Pending Document Tracking
Customer and Supplier Activity screens now include a dedicated Pending Documents tab, giving users immediate access to outstanding Quotes, Orders, and other open documents.
Ignore Online Orders
Businesses can now selectively ignore specific online orders when required. Every ignored order is fully logged, ensuring complete transparency and maintaining data integrity.
Bulk User Permission Updates
System administrators can now apply configuration changes and permission updates to all users or selected user groups in a single action, dramatically reducing administration time.
Coming Next Month: Introducing the XtraPOS AI Hub
We're also excited to give you an exclusive preview of what's coming next.
Launching next month, the XtraPOS AI Hub will introduce a powerful new layer of automation to your purchasing process.
