Your XtraPOS Cloud continues to evolve with enhancements designed to make in-store operations faster, smarter, and more intuitive. This month’s update focuses heavily on improving the Point of Sale experience, while also strengthening reporting, inventory flexibility, and session management.
Enhanced Point of Sale Screen
Faster workflows. Cleaner layout. Smarter navigation.
The redesigned POS screen brings a smoother, more intuitive selling experience.
With clearer action buttons, improved spacing, and better access to commonly used tools, your team can process transactions quicker than ever, especially during busy trading periods.
This upgrade delivers a more efficient, more comfortable workflow for all POS users.
Float Counting by Cash Denominations (Opening & Closing Sessions)
Accurate counts, less manual work.
Both opening and closing trading sessions now support float counting by specific cash denominations.
Cashiers simply enter quantities per denomination, making the process faster and reducing human error, all while improving end-of-day accuracy.
Cost-Free Daily Sales Report
Share performance without revealing sensitive data.
A new automated daily sales report can now be generated without showing Unit Cost, Profit Margin %, or any cost-related information—perfect for staff who need sales totals but not financial detail.
Open Description for Inventory Items
Flexibility for made-to-order or customised products.
Stock Items can now include a user-defined Open Description, allowing staff to enter custom text at the time of sale. Ideal for repairs, engraving, special orders, or any product requiring unique notes.
GP% Margin on Stock Items
Better visibility of profitability.
Stock Item cards now display the Gross Profit %, giving you a quick and clear understanding of expected profitability per product—supporting smarter pricing and buying decisions.
Department-Restricted Gift Voucher Redemption
Control where vouchers can be used.
Gift Vouchers can now be configured so that they may only be redeemed against specific Department Codes or Categories, ensuring voucher usage is aligned with your promotional or category rules.
Supplier Filtering in Stock Take
More flexible stock take planning.
The Stock Take screen now includes a Supplier filter, allowing you to easily organise supplier-focused stock counts for better accuracy and planning.
Packed Weight Field on Stock Items
More detail for weight-based or packaged goods.
A new Packed Weight field helps you record more precise product data—especially useful for bundled, pre-packed, or weight-sensitive stock.
Variant Family–Based POS Promotions
More targeted promotional control.
POS Promotions can now be assigned directly to Stock Variant Families, giving you more precise control over how promotions are triggered across product variations.
These November updates continue our commitment to delivering smarter, faster, and more flexible tools across the entire XtraPOS Cloud ecosystem. More improvements are already in development, all aimed at making daily retail operations simpler and more efficient for you. Stay tuned for next month's updates.
